I sent my resume and got a call from one of their "recruiters" who claimed he had a job that was a perfect fit for me given my background and skills- management experience, advanced degree, work abroad. Aside: I had indicated that I was looking for a long-term position in my field- not quick cash. I wasn't desperate to eat and had time to look. (just wasn't savvy enough to now to skip this place...) So I drive out there.
After keeping me waiting and enduring rather unprofessional treatment I found the perfect job was three weeks of stocking shelves on the graveyard shift, not even a permanent job-which we talked about on the phone and I had indicated in my letter. I balked and said no thanks. He brought one of his cronies in to stare me down (ooh ooh) and then suggested a night shift at a call center. It was two greasy, obnoxious frat boys trying to pressure me into taking a job that I was ill suited for. I walked out.
Mainly I was left with "we just don't give a toot", and that they're just complete dilettantes who think nothing of wasting your time. Half hour drive in traffic, wait half hour, drive home...
Final words: rude, uncaring, unprofessional waste of time, dishonest.
