The ingredients seem to be very fresh. They have cutesie names for the food. Unfortunately everything I've had has tasted just like its ingredients thrown together inside a tortilla. There isn't much spice if any in this. If you like your mexican food a bit bland this is the way to go. I did discover with enough of some of the sauces on the condiment bar I can give the food some flavor, but it seems like a lot of money to pay to have to put this much flavor into it myself. Finding seating is a challeng during lunch.

The atmosphere is great. As you walk in, you are greeted with a cheerful, "Welcome to Moe's!" The staff was amazingly courteous for a fast food joint, and the restaurant was clean and bright.

Unfortunately, the food was terrible. My favorite thing to order at these Mexican fast food places is Con Queso cheese dip. I love the stuff. The Queso at Moe's however was pasty, bland, too dense, and almost completely void of tomatoes, peppers, and whatever else is supposed to be in there. It even left a gritty after-taste in my mouth that didn't rinse out with water. Had I enjoyed it enough to eat more than a few bites, I would have run out of chips anyway as they don't give you near enough. In my case, this wasn't a problem due to the nastiness of the dip.

My daughter ordered chicken soup which was actually pretty good, with big chunks of white chicken breast plus corn, beans, and onions.

My wife ordered a chicken burrito which was edible, but just barely. We ate enough to not be hungry. It's actually a great dieting plan if you think of it. In any case, the burrito was almost entirely rice, and to make matters worse, the rice was overcooked, swollen, and mushy. The beans were mushy, as they are expected to be, but this just added to an overall problem due to the mushy rice. The chicken meat was pretty good, but you really had to go looking for it ... I was shocked how little they put in, and then I saw a sign that said "Extra meat: $1.95." It should have been a red flag. They did add lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole which I thought was a nice touch.

All in all, the place is bright, clean, friendly, and has terrible food. It costs about 10% more than similar places like Chipolte and Qdoba, but tastes significantly worse than Taco-Bell or other super cheap taco chains.

Good luck if you choose to visit.
