Joe Weiland is a 3rd degree Black belt and is a wonderful instructor to learn from. the center recently moved to its new home at a small retail center on SE 39th and Powell, across the street from Safeway. If you are interested in learning the Classic Kung Fu Shaolin style, you need to visit here first.

This traditional martial arts practice is very good. The times are convenient and the location is not difficult to get to. They are honorable in their approach and I highly recommend this studio.

a serious yet gracious school of study with a strong heart and philosphy. i have been to nearly every dojo and kwoon in this city and studied at least some of virtually every style out there. 20 years in my foundation art left me looking for more depth within the fundamental concepts. this school and it's instructor are like none you'll find out there. it is an art you'll spend a lifetime learning and enjoy every minute while doing so.
Pros: great instructor with a good grasp of concepts as well as technique
Cons: i can't make it in as often as i'd like to
