Al-Jebal is fairly close to my office and a group of us tries to eat here a few times each month. They have outstanding Shawarma with fresh nan and the prices are great.

What a find! The food is authentic, delicious and fresh. Hummus, lamb shawarma, naan and felafel are all good. Service can be a bit spotty when busy, but worth the wait, and the staff and owner are delightful. Wander through the Middle Eastern/Asian market attached to the restaurant -- really interesting.

Initially, the restaurant had some bumps to cover, but they did it! The chef in the back has mastered making fresh, succulent, and tender lamb kebabs. Also, the chicken kebabs are a delight. Fresh warm bread accompanies your meal and the waiter is as friendly as a flight attendant. You will have better luck in service of course going there when it is not crowded, as usually its one waiter for the entire restaurant. I recommend the lamb kebabs with hummus, instead of rice. You will have more options to finishing the warm bread with it!!! The baba ganoush is really tasty, and would make an excellent appetizer. There are no alcoholic drinks, so no worries, as the yogurt drink goes great with your kebab meal. There are plenty of items on the menu, but if you want to fare good, and walk out REALLY satisfied and a good value for your buck, go with my recommendations!!!
