Goodwill has changed. It used to be good quality items at modest prices, now it's almost retail on low quality items. The good quality stuff they are either at retail or above. I have seen items at goodwill actually MORE expensive than at the department store, with the department store tag right next to the higher goodwill price! I pointed this out to some sale people and they told me their prices are 'preset' by someone before hand...well, whomever they are they need a reality check. People don't go to Goodwill to pay retail.

I don't know what is goin on with Goodwill 1325 NW 9th Street, Corvallis, Oregon, 97330, U.S..
For long time, I buy clothes at great prices but lately it is losing quality.
I was about to buy a pants when I discovered a big hole in the back pocket and the price $ 12.00.
I really likes to help, but something is happening in that store.
They should lower prices or improve quality!

The best thing that you can say about it, really, is that it's practically the only thrift store in the area, so I recommend it for that reason alone. However: first, the clothes always stink, I don't know what they spray them with but it's awful. Second, so incredibly annoying that they police you at the fitting rooms. Third, they are more expensive than other goodwills I've been too. Fourth, the toy selection is ridiculous. They used to have a bin of little toys for 49 cents -- no longer. And there's nothing old, vintage. I don't know if they sell it or if they just treat it as garbage because of the recent lead scare -- but all there is new plastic crap.
