I would go nowhere else than to Portland Motorcycle for sales, parts and service. These guys are awesome and they are still in business! Can't say that for all the BMW Dealers in Oregon... So they must be doing something right. I know for

This is getting ridiculous. They have had my bike for over three months now and it still is not done! Not to mention the reason it is there in the first place is to have it painted to fix the tank and fairing that were damaged when they

Please heed the call from a motorcycle enthusiast of 40 years. If you love your motorcycle as much as I do and have dropped every spare penny into it that you could possibly muster- then do not take your pride and joy to this shop for

I have never had a problem with this shop. They've gone out of their way to help me figure out a problem with my bike, even though I wasn't purchasing anything at the time. In my experience, they rank far above the other Kawasaki dealers in the area.I also love looking at all their pretty bikes.. espcially the Triumps. Drool..

Pros: Great Bikes, Helpful Staff

Cons: Hard to Find.

If you need parts for your airhead, this is the place to go. You're not likely to find a more knowledgeable BMW parts guy than Jim in town. The parts guys really try to get what you need the first time. The apparel and accessory selection is pretty slim most of the time, but they generally have the basics, like oil filters and such. I'm sure business is slow right now (whose isn't?), so I understand why inventory is small. I prefer to avoid ordering things, but I realize its impossible to carry everything in stock. The showroom is nice and big, and they always seem to have plenty of bikes to look at. Responses to emails are quick (generally). Dave in Service is always friendly and goes out of his way to help.

Some guys and I where talking shop tonight and Portland Motorcycle co came up to where we all had poor we experiences with them. We decided to post here.
Portland Motorcycle co is great if you know the who, what, when, and where of what you want. But don?t rely on their staff to help get you where you want to go. They do have quite a big stock of Triumphs, Suzuki?s, Kawasaki's, some BMW's and so on. Prices are okay, and I don?t know much about how great they are for financing as I never bothered to get that far with them.
I went there for some parts questions and felt as if I was annoying the guy just for asking. He didn?t seem to want to help me, and was overall unenthused. You don?t have to jump up and down for me, but at least look up and talk to me eye to eye.
It also seems they are a bit more interested in having younger gals roaming about (probably for a sales tactic which is understandable) as their sales staff, than they are about having a knowledgeable and helpful sales staff. Anyone I met there seemed to try and promote and push bikes, even if you weren?t interested. For example, when my friend asked about what kind of bike would be good for his girlfriend, a beginning rider, (standing next to him at the time) the sales girl tried to persuade him to look at a v-strom, a bike of which was obviously not at all good for his girlfriend, being that it was too high, too heavy and not at all something you would get a first time rider on. After that my friend, the customer, suggested five appropriate bikes to the sales girl in return.
I like places where I am not hounded by sales staff, but equally, I don?t like places on the other end of the spectrum where the sales staff isn?t much help at all.
