I went to Kelloggs expecting to buy 4 new tires. I didn't think I could afford 4 new tires, but I thought I needed them. I didn't ask, but it seems to be a family business. Mrs. Kellogg (?) came out from behind the counter to go look at my car. She checked the tires and the size and asked when I had bought them. Then she told me I did not need new tires! I had two slow leaks -- one had a nail in it and the other one they pulled off to review and repair. I also got a lube and oil change and all my fluids and tire pressure checked. While I waited I observed that everybody who came in was treated right -- every color, every person, women, men -- everybody got treated well and left with a smile on their face. One lady came in just to ask to have her tires filled with air, since most of the air machines in town are not working. I had a bad experience recently somewhere else in town where I waited for 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge my presence and I was going to do the same thing -- beg for air. Nobody could be bothered to even make eye contact or offer help. At Kelloggs the lady who came in today was immediately served. I had been taking my car somewhere else for a lube and oil change. That place checked off vacuuming done and fluids filled and tire pressure checked but the vacuuming was never done, the leaking tires were flat within a few days (they had slow leaks -- if they had been filled the air would have lasted a week), and I always had to add radiator fluid and oil within a matter of days. I trust that Kellogg did the job right. As I paid my extremely reasonable bill, I thanked them profusedly again for not selling me 4 new tires when I didn't need them yet. They said "well, we guess we just lost a big sale." I looked them in the eye and told them no, they did not. I will return there for every lube and oil change from now on. I will buy my tires there when I finally do need new tires. And I will recommend them to all my friends. And now I put this rave review out on the Internet. Kelloggs is Da Bomb, peeps. You go there; they will treat you right.
