My child loves The Reasissance. The teachers are amazing - loving, respectful, fun.The teacher we have has been with this school for 8 years. I couldn't think of a better place for my daughter. They offer so many activities - field trips, music class, outdoor activities, art & craft. They are a big help in teaching kids hygiene, potty training etc. My daughter started speaking her first spanish words only after a couple weeks after starting Daycare. The school and classrooms ARE CLEAN, which I found most Daycares aren't !!! Love it and strongly recommend it.
It is sad that people sign up for a account on here only to post a negitive comment about this school. In most cases it is the only comment they have ever made. That screams disgruntaled person. I felt it my duty to express that hundreds of parents love this daycare.

All the teachers there are really nice and enjoy spending time with the kids! Although, the owner, Lori and her niece Shannon are so money hungry they don't really care about the kids and are really fake towards the parents all they see when your child walk into the door is dollar signs. I have nothing to bad to say about the teachers they are all so sweet and put up with so much from the ones that are in charge

Absolutely THE BEST daycare I've seen and had the pleasure of enrolling my son in. I'm highly impressed with their outstanding curriculum, their amazingly kind & warm staff and the cleaniless of the school. They provide healthy meals & snacks (whole grain pasta, fruits, veggies, and baked goods made from scratch!, just to name a few). My son has been attending for three months now, and he went from being a little afraid at first to absolutely loving it! Every weekday morning, he looks forward to spending the day with his teacher and the new friendships he's made. He's learned so much, and we're amazed by how his vocabulary has grown! I'm so glad & fortunate to have found him a home away from home :)

Congrats to you guys on your NECPA National Accreditation. And for being the only Center in Stillwater to have this honor. We enjoy having our children with you guys and are amazed by all they have learned.

This was an amazing experience for our children. Our son is now in 1st grade and is so much more advance than his peers; I credit the Renaissance School with this. He was even taught Spanish and sign language. Our daughter was impossible to potty train; they manage this in just 6 days, wow! The teachers are very involved with the children and where always on the floor to be eye level with the children when teaching them. Sadly we had to relocate due to my husband being layed off at Armstrong. The daycares here make us understand what we had in Stillwater cannot be achieved anywhere else. If you are lucky enough to live there and need a daycare, this is the only place to go. Thank you to Lori and all the Teacher, we miss you

I took my child to this daycare, excited because it was within 1 mile of our home. My husband and I found that my daughter was upset EVERYDAY when we left her. Our daughter said the teachers were mean to her, and she didn't want to go back. Over the course of 5 days, I found children occaisionally wandering through the halls, without a teacher; specifially, the children I observed were around the age of 2. Many times there were children using the restroom by themselves, with no one ensuring that their hands got washed afterward. On the last day, my Grandmother picked my daughter up at noon. The child information sheet that had been given to us daily regarding her meals, habits and behaviors, nap-time, and any issues she might have had throughtout the day had been filled out. We received this sheet, but it had been filled out for the entire day, all the way to he afternoon snack. She was not present for the afternoon snack, but the teacher had written that she ate ""most of it"". It said she napped from 12:30 -2:00. Funny, since we picked her up at 12. For all we know, they could have had this sheet filled out at 8 AM...thought it was supposed to be updated throughout the day...that is the whole point. When we confronted the Director, she was defensive and full of excuses, even blaming the lying on a teacher's aide. Even if it was an aide, they are still employed by The Renaissance School...and it is still a BIG deal. So, whatever you do, DO NOT take your child to this preschool/daycare. It just isn't worth risking your child's happiness or well being to send them to a place who will lie over something as simple as a snack or a nap.

My kids and I love Renaissance school, they attend on Richmond Rd. The teachers are wonderful with the kids and are great about updating parents on concerns/progress. Lori knows all the parents and kids by name which is comforting. She is very informative and willing to help in any way. I am thankful to have a childcare center that I fully trust my children to attend. Thanks Lori and staff for all that you do!

I am extremely happy with the Renaissance at Richmond Daycare Center and the care they have provided for my son. Their early education program is certainly an advantage of my son's time spent through the day. I find the toddler program to be intellectually stimulating as well as a fun safe place for my child to learn, develop, grow and make friends. I also appreciate the directors eagerness to provide outstanding care and development opportunities for the children that attend the center and upmost concern for any concern's the parents and children may have at anytime. Although it is expensive I find it difficult to place a price on great care for my baby. Thanks Lori, Jaime, Heather, Linda and the rest of the Renaissance Staff!

My child has been going to the Renaissance School on Richmond Rd. since she was 6 weeks old. It has always amazed me to see the changes in her that I know stem from quality child care. The teachers are amazing and really work with the kids. The management staff always listens to any concerns I may have. The cost seemed expensive to me when I was paying the infant prices, but having my child in a place all day long that I know I don't have to worry about her is priceless! She loves going to "school", she loves the activities and she loves her teachers. She is developmentally sound and is either even with the children her age or has surpassed them. What more could you ask for?

My two girls are 17 months apart and had been in a in-home daycare since birth. They were used to being together 24-7 until we moved to Stillwater. Renaissance at Richmond understood the emotional strain the transition would be on my girls and did everything they could to make it as smooth as possible. Not only have my girls adjusted well they have made friends and are learning so much. We transferred to Renaissance at Sangre Ridge when our house was completed and have loved it just as much. The teachers and director is wonderful!

My husband and I were very hesitant about taking our daughter to any daycare, as we were raised by family ourselves and never did daycare. We toured Renaissance-Richmond and liked the infant room teachers a lot. We also had heard good things about it from several couples (3, to be exact) who took their little ones there, so it helped comfort us a little.

She's been there over 6 weeks now and seems to be happy. I know she is well-cared for, she's usually smiling when we pop in to see her. She's never had diaper rash or anything. I recommend it!
