Oh my goodness, you must go to Eischen's! The chicken is so moist & wonderful. You order chicken by chicken (you get 2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 thighs, 2 legs with every order). They give you white bread, pickles, and onions with every order. You must try this -- white bread, pickle, onion, chunk of chicken. It's so great!

The nachos are also surprisingly good!

They serve drinks in a can -- no frills. Also, there are no plates or silverware, so be prepared.

You have to wait for your own table. It's done on the honor system -- you know who got there first and you look for a table. Go early to beat the rush!

I have gone here since i was a little girl. I loved it then and still love it now. It is best to sit in the old part I am not a fan of the addition. Its a great place to go with friends and family.

Pros: great chicken even better atmosphere

Cons: waiting

The oldest bar in Oklahoma! Well I know most people go to Eischen's for the fried chicken and beer. I personally am not big on either one but my favorite is the fried okra.

The atmosphere is funky, it used to be mostly a biker bar, but the chicken is WONDERFUL!!! Be repaired for wait in the evening, especially Friday and Saturday. Even with the expansion into the former grocery store area, there is still not room for the crowd that visits. We take out of town guests here to enjoy the atmosphere and the food. This is a very casual place, there are no plates or silverware. At lunch this is a place where the workers from the surrounding area go to eat the chicken, fried okra, or nachos, and maybe have a beer. No hard liquor is sold. There are pinball type games and a pool table in addition to several TV's. The juke box plays all the time and has a good mix of classic country, rock and roll, and some newer country tunes. Seating is either at picnic tables, in large booths, or at the bar. This is a fun place to visit and as I said the chicken is out of this world good.

Pros: Fun and funky.
