I have spent many hours and many dollars here-to the point where many staffers know what I want before I order. But after my last visit I will never be back. They claim to welcome dogs. Even after seeing several dogs of all sizes I still checked with the staff before bringing mine in. I was told no problem. I had brought my dogs on several occations and had the staff and other customers comment on how well behaved they were. Well, this past Sunday my husband, myself, and my 2 dogs went to spend a nice morning at what was our favorite hangout. We were all in a room off to the side, away from all other customers, and were there not even 5 minutes when an employee told us the owner was on the phone saying we had to leave! She said a customer complained about our dogs being there. Then I was told they only allow small dogs inside the building-which is a complete lie! I have personally seen a great dane inside with its owner at least twice. We left and I gave the employee my name and number for the owner to contact me. The owner apparently didn't even care enough to call me.I will never go there again, and I will spread the word to everyone I know, especially dog lovers, to not go there either!

I have never been met with such openly rude remarks and condescending treatement by a member of a restuarant staff until today at the Coffee House.

From the moment we walked in the door all of our questions were met with snide and passive agressive remarks.

My friend asked if there was a menu she could look over. Her eyesight is bad at a distance and it is hard for her to read the drink selections on the board. To which the counter guy replies, "We are not that kind of coffee shop. Look in the case for the labels." And points to the display case with the sandwiches they offer.

Then I ask if they usually have salads and he says, "Do you see any? There may be some in the back."

Ok. He does not check the back.

So, We decide on sandwiches and I order an iced dirty chai. He brings it hot with one of the sandwiches. I tell him I ordered iced and he rolls his eyes and says he doesn't remember. He gets me a new iced drink--probably laced god knows what.

When we asked if we could get our waters after he had brought our food he actually said, "I only have two hands so I'll bring it in just a minute."

At this point he had still not given me my side of fruit so after we get our waters I go in get my fruit to go. We decide to leave without finishing our meal rather than spend another minute in this place.

He was the biggest ___ for no reason at all. We were never rude. I apologized when I told him out the mix up with the Chai. There is absolutely no reason to act like that.

I will never go back after the treatment I recieved. I encourgae anyone who wants good service to try Camile's right down the street. They have always been very nice.

Pros: nothing

Cons: Openly rude and unwelcoming service

I absolutely love going to Coffee House on Cherry Street! Their coffee is great, but their atmosphere is awesome. They have a patio with outdoor wood burning stoves! It is so nice to get a cup of coffee and sit outside by the fire when it is chilly out. My favorite coffee shop in Tulsa, by far!

We visit CHOCS quite often. They have a good assortment of coffees (hot and cold) to choose from, as well as delicious desserts and sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Our favorite treat during the summer is the iced mocha. They also make an amazing grilled cheese sandwich. I'd highly recommend the Coffee House on Cherry Street to anyone that wants good coffee in a non-intimidating atmosphere.
