This place is so great. Everyone I know who has been loves it. We love consigning with them and especially shopping with them. As for what the other reviewer said about being disrespectful about her clothes I feel that she was more disrespectful for waiting so much money and not even using what she bought. There isn??t any way she could get what she wanted by going to Once Upon a Child because their would never sell any clothing Item for $20 no matter what kind it is. I believe that the top Dollar I have seen there is $12 and that is usually for a name brand set. Usually name brand items there are $8-$12 tops. They are picky on what they buy because they have so much to choose from and that??s great because it gives everyone else lots of great bargains that are nearly new to equip their kids with.

We consign with them because I know I??ll get more for my good clothes there than at a garage sale and I don??t have them time to deal with e-bay to get more. We do consign ore equipment there as well if I??m not having luck on Craigslist or getting the price I want at a garage sale. On equipment they will pay you th the price what it??s gong for new because they will try to sale it for twice that. So if I have a bassinet that is $100 new I know Once Upon a Child will give be $25?So before I go there to sell it I??ll first try selling it on craigslist for $50-75 but no matter what I won??t take less that $25 in the end?

I enjoy shopping at once upon a child, they have a great selection, which is affordable. I have sold items before, the first time I brought baby girl clothes, and they passed on almost all if them, politely explaining they do not take

I first went to their site and read their requirements for clothes and such. I washed and dried all the clothes, as they requested, and they were maybe a year old at the most. I brought in 2 bins of both baby girl clothes, shoes and boys clothes. Nothing in there had any stains, I was very maticulous when looking at everything before taking it to them, anything that had stains I just donated. There were no rips, they were all in excellent condition. Shoes were washed and looked brand new, some even were brand new with tags still attached. I brought in a Gap winter coat which retails at least $40, a pair of Gap jeans with tags attached that I purchased for $40, brand new toddler Nikes, brand new with tags Carter's outfits. Just those handful of things there retailed over $100. In total, they 'accepted' over 100 items from shoes, hair bows, and clothes. They offered me $81. 81 DOLLARS!!!!! That's less than a dollar a piece when I know they could have sold that Gap coat alone for $20. Hell I could get that much or more on ebay if I had the time. I was sadly disappointed and it completely wasted my time. I will be taking the 2 bins to a different store in the city and hopefully they won't be as disrespectful as this place was.
