Hotel Blue

Our whole family stayed at this hotel last week. One of our rooms had mold covering the ceiling and was starting to make its way down the wall, the smell would knock you over when you opened the door. At first the staff was very rude and unprofessional, smiling and laughing as if it was funny . They were simply just going to refund our money and send us on our way. There were no other rooms for them to give us and no other hotels within our price range. We had saved to the penny and could not afford to spend another couple hundred dollars on another hotel. After 2hrs of trying to figure out what to do they put us in a room that they had on hold because it needed some repairs (Which at this point was fine). Other than that the housekeeping service was very unfriendly, they smoked and talked on cell phones while cleaning rooms. Elevators took 10-15 minutes to get to your floor and they had no type of ventalation. Pools were not very clean. Trash over flowing in hall way trash cans. This was the worst stay at myrtle beach that we have ever had. I never complain normally just take it . Just couldn't do that this time. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Oh.. did I mention that they put someone else in the room with mold as if it were not a big problem.
