In 1997, after a brutal winter and a blizzard with 38 inches of snow falling in two days and drifting to 5 feet, Barbara and Brian decided to move south. After completing his extensive HVAC training and certification courses Brian Cameron Mills (known as Cameron) started looking for a job with an HVAC company. He sent resumes to every company in the phone book, and filled out a dozen applications before Brian Rice of Rice Heating and Air gave him his chance. Cameron showed up with a happy attitude and a yearning to satisfy. Seeing his great potential, Brian Rice took Cameron under his wing, teaching him everything from wrapping duct to replacing units. Often requested by name from his many satisfied customers, Cameron soon became a customer favorite. His hard work ethic and integrity allowed him to excel to General Manager in a short time. From learning the ropes at wrapping duct to General manager, Cameron’s four years with Rice Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. was a great stepping stone. In 2001, Brian Rice decided to help Cameron start his own company. On the 4th of July 2001 Answer was born, Independence day. Armed with Brians entire Mt. Pleasant customer list and a van stocked with parts, Answer AC & Heat, Inc was born. Now, 6 employees and 10 years later, Camerons honest service and quality repair has made Answer AC & Heat, Inc. the choice for Charleston Area AC and Heater repair.
