Went to see him on a Wednesday in terrific pain. Told me it was a back problem and ordered P/T. Sunday night I was rushed to the hospital in horrific pain. Infection in pancreas and bad gall bladder. Took 3 days in the hospital to clear infection before I could have surgery. Recovered very quickly and feel great now. DO's need to listen to their patients -- they don't have enough medical training. Surgeon told me if I had waited any longer to get to the hospital things would have been quite different -- and that I was a classic gall bladder case. Cat scan should have been ordered. Being a nice guy finishes last in the medical professional -- a good doctor of Internal Medicine is the difference between a real doctor and a DO.
