I have been going to Tyson Sports for about three years. The staff is friendly and really wants to push you to the next level. It has not only helped strengthen me physically, but also mentally. I am a better fighter because of Jimmie and his crazy attention to detail. The new muay thai instructor is a beast! I am definitely not where I want to be yet with my skill level, but on my way. Price is what you pay value is what you get. I??ve shed blood sweat and tears in that gym.

I have to say that although i havnt shopped around much on other gym prices, i do find his prices fair, and especially for the amount of one on one you get. My wife and 3 kids have been going there for about 6 months now and they love it. I personally like jimmy and any of the other staff ive met, hes not like some instructors where they wanna shoe you out after your session, and has never tried to push any sales off on me. Its a smaller gym and everyone is nice and friendly. I reccomend this place to anybody looking.

I really think the prices are high. The water should be free for the price you pay, however the training is intense as well and I just keep my water in the car. Staff makes you feel comfortable and really take the time to work with you. One of the instructors was doing a number on the punching bag when I first saw him. I thought him to be intimidating but like the old saying goes " Don't judge a book by the cover" He actually ended up being real patient and friendly. The other instructors were just as friendly and patient. I got alot of positive diversity in my training. I've been to other gyms but none like Tyson Sports. They show professionalism in their training and treat you with respect. You get scheduled for an hour of training but they don't rush to kick you out when your done. Instead, they help you if you need extra help. I actually do plan on going back.

I've spent about 8 years doing taekwondo, boxing, and kickboxing, but never have I seen a gym be more overpriced. The staff is minimal, so it's not like they have to spend that much on their teachers. The instructors do fine, although when I specifically asked for a lesson or two in jui jitsu, I was easily brushed off. If your spending around $150 and have a question on something it goes without saying you should receive an answer. I've also noticed how Jimmie acts around a new customer interested in joining and then after becoming a member up sells him on expensive boxing gloves, wraps, and protein supplements all of which you can buy much cheaper everywhere else. Also the place smells like sweat all day round. Nothing wrong with a gym that does that during sessions. But first thing in the morning? There is either a sanitation issue or a use of a sodium chloride solution to stimulate that odor. Another thing, and this one is the ticker, if you didn't notice the "No water bottles" sign. There isn't a water fountain in this gym. So your forced to either dehydrate or spend more money on the water he buys for cheap in bulk at publix. Yes they can teach you to punch and kick, but so can many other places. All in all, this is some business with many promises and a high price tag. Do yourself a favor and tell Jimmie to bargain or find yourself a less expensive gym with a friendly atmosphere, that isn't just in it for the money.

I highly recommend this facility. Staff is awesome very friendly and works closely one on one with everyone. The hours are very flexible for me and my family we to taekwondo and we have learned so much. The classes are very high energy and it's full contact taekwondo. I have learned so much compared to other taekwondo schools I have to say by far they are the best. They really love their clients and are actually interested in what we have to say.
