Sister restaurant to Logan Tavern in the Logan Circle neighborhood, The Heights is a welcome addition to Columbia Heights!
Serving traditional American fare as well as some contemporary twists on some traditional favorites. Most importantly they have a great beer menu and like Logan Tavern, they have city's BEST french toast.
During the Spring/Summer & early Fall months, they have a huge patio open which is great for enjoying a nice day outside and for people watching.
PROS: Beer menu, fried artichokes and their mashed potatoes.
CONS: They don't change their menu often enough. It would be nice to have some new things every once and a while. The one thing I would like to see?? Good 'ol lasagna like Mom used to make!
