Senator Ann Duplessis

I love that Sen. Duplessis is keeping the citizens first in what she does for Louisiana. If you jacks know what a Senator makes a year then you would not complain about a raise. I think 16000 a year is a joke for a public servant. I made that kind of money working for the City of New Orleans before Katrina. No one complained about John and he was in office for god knows how long. Ya'll just can't deal with a strong woman handling her business. As long as she runs for office she will have my vote.

After Governor Jindals veto of SB 672 You made a statement that Bobby Jindal has a lot to learn in dealing with the legislature.
Ms. Duplessis you have a lot to learn in dealing with the citizens of this state. Your arrogance and refusal to listen to your constituents is a travesty. Its considered a privilege to serve the citizens of this state, its not a right. The citizens run this state and you have the privilege of representing and voting for their needs not yours.
I hope you listen to your bank customers and not make decisions based on what you think is best for them. Otherwise you wouldnt be in business too long.

I am from North LA and did not even know her name until I heard her mouthing off tonight on the news. Now I know who was responsible for the bill that Governor Jindal had the good sense to veto. If she thinks a radio talk show host can make the Governor veto, then I think she needs some serious educating. From what I have read about her in the last 10 minutes, I am amazed that she ever got elected. She said that most of the people of LA did not even know what was going on - does she think we are stupid? Does she think we have to have a radio talk show tell us and the Governor how to vote and what to veto? She also made the comment that most of the people were not upset about the pay increase. What planet is she living on? I sincerely hope she is on the recall list. The people of NO deserve much better respresentation.

Typical product of this district. Got elected then pushed for a WHOLLY undeserved raise. Obese. Ugly. Stupid.

She threatened to derail Jindal's reform bills if he vetoed her raise, which he did, thank God. I only hope she is recalled or, even better, gets caught doing something wrong, as most New Orleans politicians do.

I hate to say this but I just can't stand this woman. We had a chance for something different. I don't even remember that other young lady who ran against her but I wish like hell we had put her in office. I almost said John, but I'm scared to think of what he would have done this go round. This is a disgrace to everyone in our district...actually everyone in our state. Ann will eat herself to hell and leave us with the dirty task of cleaning up the sucked over bones. How she drives her fancy car through her district and can only think of her need for more money is why she should burn. More money for what???? FOR WHAT??? YOU HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING, PORKCHOP. NOT NOTHING, NOT NOTHING, NOT NOTHING. Like I said, she MAKES ME SICK...with her fat, greasy tail.

I hear they call her Porkchop, but maybe she also likes Pigs in a Blanket. I've seen her driving her Mercedes and cutting a guy off to park illegally, as she waddled into a restaurant.

The Ann Duplessis Recipe for
PIGS IN A BLANKET:

Heat a 165 pounds of lard and add 275 pounds of overstuffed sausages. Fry sausages until they are dark... On potato rolls, add 125 pounds Cheese Whiz and microwave for 20 seconds. Add 20 - 25 overstuffed sausages onto each roll. Eat like a pig and chase it with some Big Shot Pineapple drink.

She has reverted her public servant position to the days of old. Reminds me of the Sheriff of Nottingham. Blackmail and deceit are her weapons of choice.

Greedy, money grabbing blackmailer. Surprised citizens with pay raise bill which would have TRIPLED her base salary (and subsequent retirement benefits) and then threatened to vote against Governor's reform bills if he vetoed her pay raise. This woman should be recalled and sent BACK to the banking/finance industry from whence she came, so she can continue to screw people, only fewer of them!!!
