In February 2010, I paid 10,000.00 for a new HeatAC cooling unit for my new home addition. Within a couple of days of installation, I notifed Elton the owner of Stewart's Aire Serv, that my brand new unit would not cool or provide heat. He came to my location and told me I needed to pay an additional $900.00. I told him I would not pay that amount because it was not told to me sooner, much less why would I give this company more money when I already had a product of their that was not working. He claimed that my older unit had to be repaired. I wanted an explanation since it worked fine before they touched it. Also, it did not excuse the fact that the other brand new unit purchased from them did not work. Elton did not service or repair any unit that day or any day since. I have called the contractor that first referred this company to me, he subsequently changed his number, and I've called Stewart's Aire Serv, he has now blocked my home number and forwards each call I've placed to their office. Last summer I sent my 5 children to stay with my parents because the heat was unbearable. This winter, all of my children camped out in my bedroom so they could get warm around my electric fireplace. Yesterday, it was more than 98 degrees in my house. My children have now packed their belongings and are again staying with my parents. I called Elton, his assistant made a service appointment for me of which he canceled without notice or a phone call. I missed a day of work for an appointment that never happened. Today, my mother finally spoke with Elton, as he was unaware of who she was, he informed her that I never paid my balance, I have since then requested copies of the checks I wrote to Elton and his company which clearly shows I paid him the full 10,000.00 that was owed. He further states that I am very combative when he speaks with me and he refuses to come to my home as a result of my rudeness. He further stated that my 1 year warranty ended in February. If anyone on this planet, willfully gives up 10,000.00 for a product and does not receive what is promised after repeatedly trying to find a resolution and is not angry about it please contact me personally. Elton has a wife and children and I donot believe for one minute he would allow any company to treat him this way. I will tell everyone I know on facebook, Better Business Bureau, online business google search, Louisiana contractors license bureau what I have experience with this company. To date I will have to stay at a hotel, my home is too hot. Consequently, Elton, stated that he will only come to my home if I agree to pay an additional $69.00 and if I am rude in anyway he will leave. This price does not include whatever repair to the non working faulty system he put in my home. Moreover, he further states that it will be weeks before anyone would even come out. I want my money back, they don't care about how my family has suffered. I took out of my personal savings to pay this this guy and his company walked away with thousands and refuses to stand by his product. At this point, I am seeking legal litigation in civil court. I know that I am correct in saying that this product does not work, never has, and should have at least be serviced to find out what the problem is. If you turn on the ACHeat control unit nothing happens, no fan blades turn, that is a BIG PROBLEM that deserves at least some attention. Please consumers do not go near Aire Serv they are rip off con artist who place the blame on the consumer for faulty working equipment. Finally, Elton, suggested "JoAnne is welcome to call someone else" With what money you have taken all of it for a non working product.

They are not professional, they didn't even put all my vents on the units I had to call them within a few weeks to have that done.
