Durable Slate

I'm originally from Boston, and there's a bunch of old-time slaters there. I assumed it'd be the same here, because New Orleans is such an old city with fantastic homes with slate roofs, but I seemed like it was hopeless finding a real slater in town. Then I called Durable Slate. They are the real McCoy. They're the only ones I'll let on my slate roof.

I'm so glad I hired them. They fixed my leaky slate roof and made it look so much better by taking out all the "clips." I would highly recommend them.

I did lots of research before I replaced my slate roof, and I'll tell you it was well worth it. Durable Slate did a fantastic job on my house. It looks great, and it's going to last!! I've since referred them to several of my friends who weren't so fortunate to call them before doing their slate roof. I would certainly recommend using them.

The salesman from Durable Slate temporarily stopped my leak while I was waiting for them to get me onto their schedule. I was really happy with their service.

Durable Slate examined my old New Orleans slate roof last month. They were really honest and knowledgeable. They showed me a bunch of pictures of their beautiful work around the city. And then, they told me that I didn't need a new roof like other roofers had told and tried to sell me. They did some repairs and the roof stopped leaking!!

Durable Slate came out and inspected my slate roof and was very professional. I got a written report and then I had them complete the repairs. I'm very happy with them and would recommend them for any slate or copper work.

I've had so much trouble with maintaining my clay tile roof over the years that I considered tearing it off. All the different roofers we've tried in the past couldn't keep our roof from leaking. John came out and explained it perfectly. Now my roof is leak free and all the new copper valleys look great. I'm so happy to find you guys!!

These guys did a beautiful job on our uptown residence. Our custom copper gutters and copper bay roof look great. All of our neighbors are jealous. I still can't believe how well it turned out. They were FANTASTIC!!

Durable Slate was absolutely outstanding. They put on a new slate roof on our Garden District home and it looks fabulous. They were very detail oriented, and I'd highly recommend them!! Thanks for all the good work!!

I had these guys repair my clay tile roof, and they fixed all the leaks that NO ONE else could!! They really know what their doing. They reflashed my chimney in copper and replaced 3 copper valleys and the new copper is stunning on my house.

These guys did a new roof for us, and it was great!! John, the estimator, explained everything very well. Josh, the foreman, was very helpful and courteous. Now, my new slate roof and shiny copper gutters make my house look beautiful! Thanks Durable Slate!!

I found the employees of durable slate to be thuggish. Their shop was in such a state of disorganization a person would think that Katrina hit them yesterday.
