This was the first place people recommended to me when I moved to Baton Rouge. It has amazing food - should be on a show like "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives". Lots of beer, liquor, and some really amazing outdoor seating when it's nice outside. There is live music almost every night. Close to LSU but enjoyed by all ages.

Pros: best grilled cheese ever

Cons: parking can be difficult

Chelsea's is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat for dinner or even to grab a couple of drinks on a Friday night. When I went the first time to Chelsea's for dinner, I didn't expect much. Having never heard of them before, I was surprised to find the best spinach and artichoke dip I've ever had. All of their dishes are really reasonably priced and taste even better than the prices would lead you to believe. When I went to Chelsea's on a weekend night with some friends, I was entertained by great local music and a warm friendly atmosphere

Pros: Cheap and delicious food, Fun afterhours music

Cons: Crowded during popular shows

Chelseas has a surprsingly great food menu that has been a secret for too long. Its better known for its drinks and bands late night, but you can get a really good dinner here as well. Then just stay for drinks and dancing to the fun music!
