they have been very good to me! and no I don't work for them .I don't even know the name of the young man that help's there. ever the meter reader has been helpful. alabama power came and cut down trees over my meter and he helped me clean the mess up that the power company left.....I had a bad leak about 7 years ago and they did ajust my bill.my understanding is that they will help with a leak 1 time .and i had a major leak on morning at 4 am in they were out within 15 min..I have lived in birmingham and moved back because of bham water work's your low bill with them is 100 plus..

I've had water with Pine Bluff for about 7 years now and come the 21st of the month it doesn't matter if my bill is $5.00 or $500.00 it's got to be paid or by 8am they cut it off and charge a ridiculous fee. They do not have any easy way of paying and if you call to make a payment they act like your wasting their time. Our bill like everyone else seems to go up and down. This is 2010 who doesn't have a website to pay online these days. I wish there were more options....

You don't even have the option of well water if you live inside the city limits. We have a well and was told that we could not use it. Also, our bill goes up and down every month by hundreds of dollars. One month it may be $40 the next it may be $200. I know that just my husband and I living there do not use that much water, much less change our lifestyles that much each month.

If you live in the Locust Fork area you don't have any other choices for water, unless you have a well. They pull off of Birmingham water works and their personal water system. They have the run on the charges and you don't have much ground to stand on either pay it or do without.
The office staff is friendly and helpful.
To get connected to begin with is an act of congress, I think it is pretty much this way everywhere.
The rates just seems to be increasing at a rapid rate.
