The people here are the problem . The owner and employees were extremely rude and talked down to us like we were idiots. You don't need this hassle. Paradise kept extracting money from bank account even after a written cancellation. Contact was confusing and unreasonable. Considering a contact attorney to recoup funds. Better Business Bureau official rating "F"

Joined the 24hr location a couple years ago. Had been a member at big clubs and wanted somewhere less crowded and personable. Yes it is not a fancy place but has everything I need. I workout in the mornings and like the music for the atmosphere. Middle of the road music playing but some memebrs like to turn it down as if they were the only ones there. Could find bigger and newer place but this club has everything anyone at any level would need at a very reasonable price. Ladies facility is next door and I have several friends that use it and say same things. They have not raised membership rates the whole time I have been a member and I know costs keep getting higher. Thanks for that. If you want a small comfortable fitness club for ANYONE I recommend these clubs. If you are looking for big crowds with the useless bells and whistles go to another.

My review is for the companion male/female gym. Repair of machines is almost non-existant, floors are often dirty and rarely swept or vacumed and the volume of the radio is so loud that even noise cancelling headphones will not overcome the volume level that is pre set. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was a member of 24 hour fitness on the west coast for 6 years...when I first moved to Dothan and joined Paradise, I thought the gym was a dump. It's grown on me...it definetly doesn't compare to the fancy facilities of a gym like Bally's or 24HrF - but its 'good enough' a lot of equipment is old. When things break it take a loooong time for them to be repaired (if ever). The spin class takes place in some wierd small room that only fits like 10 bikes. If your into spin, this isn't the gym for you. However, they do have Zumba, but both spin/zumba cost $3 per class or you can pay $15 extra (above membership dues) monthly for unlimited classes. It's nothing fancy, but you can work on your fitness. The owner and staff are pretty nice, so that helps distract from the fact the gym is pretty ragedy.

I have been a member for two years. I recently took my son with me and was told I would have to pay $3.00 for him to go to kids' club OR pay a $15.00 membership change plus an additional $10.00 per month OR $20.00 month by month. I do not have a problem paying a small additional amount, but it seemed a bit ridiculous to have to pay an upgrade fee of $15.00 just so I can give them another $10.00 per month. I even asked if they might waive the fee for someone who had been a member for a few years. I was given a firm "no." If the facilities were outstanding instead of outdated and often in need of repair, I would still be displeased with their lack of customer service. Theirs is a business of service, but their employees and policies do not reflect this value.

I originally gave this place a 4 star review. After 4 months of membership, I have decided to edit that. Many machines broke and were never repaired. Lights always seem to be out in the bathrooms and showers. Even after I moved I still had to pay 2 more months of membership dues. I notified them on Nov. 2. Had to pay Nov and Dec dues. I am still a member until Jan 1. You have to sign a 1 year membership. The only way to terminate that is to move more that 30 miles away, Which I did and still had to pay for 2 extra months. Seems odd, they will pro rate you in but not out. Suppose to be for Women only, but they have male staff and random men walking around?Dirty Environment, just not that great. Would not recommended.
