I had zerorez come out to my home on May 22, 2008, the two gentlemen who came out were prompt and courteous. They explained how their system worked and got started. The gentleman who was training did the carpet cleaning while the other one spoke with me. He pointed out different services that zerorez offered and gave me a demonstration on treating my granite countertop. I purchased the treatment for $144.00. He recommended that I purchase the granite cleaner for 49.00, which he said worked out to $1.79 per bottle. When I did the math after he left I realized that it worked out to about $5.00 a bottle. He next commented on my 5 small rugs in my kitchen and I told him I didn't know what to use to keep them clean, he offered to clean them for me and I accepted. I told him that I had a small dog and she was getting old and he said that they had a pet treatment included with the cleaning. I went in the backyard to mow and he came out several times to show me that he had done a spot clean on my couch and wanted to know if I wanted to have it cleaned. I told him no, I would be replacing all three of my couches. He came out later and showed me he had done a spot check on the other couch. I gave him the "no thank you", he did that again to the last couch. When he was done my carpet was stretched out so bad that I would have bet money that I would have to replace. He assured me it would return to its normal shape. I'm happy to say it did. I paid the bill in a hurry due to my needing to take care of a client (I sell real eastate), when I looked over the bill, I was surprised to find that he charged $75.00 for the pet treatment that was "included", my 5 small throw rugs in the kitchen cost $23.00, , I think he should have told me that he could do the area rugs but it would cost $$, between the pet treatment and the cleaner I felt I was lied to. I was very happy with the carpet cleaning product but I will be more alert next time I use them.

Pros: prompt, courteous, loved the techonology of chemical free cleaning

Cons: upsale methods were hard core
