Terrible customer service...... stay far away from this one to avoid a headache you surely don't need. Any positive reviews I've read sound contrived.....rude rude rude

National laser Institute was an awesome school. The instructors experience gave me a better understanding and level of confidence in my technique. Plus, I networked with a lot of other med spa techs and made valuable connections.

I went to the laser institute to get a photo facial. I have had several in the past and I have been very pleased with the results! But not of the price upwards to $350.00 So I decided to give national Laser Institute a try. I drove the 20 miles out of my way in hopes of a great experience at an affordable price. I asked for the private session because I was assured it was more in depth more aggressive and would address all of my concerns It is also more expensive. I am in the maintenance phase of having photo facials which is touch ups every few months.I met with the technician she expressed to me that their machine was top of the line and better and safer then the other machines being used at most of the popular med spas in the area. The technician asked me what are we targeting today the reds or browns? I was under the impression that it would be just like any other photo facial I have had in the past which targets all the pigments with one treatment.Well to make a long story short I saw absolutely no change at all! Usually after the photo facial you have some redness and some flaking of the skin and the pigments in your face darken then fade. After my treatment I had absolutely none! It was as if the machine was broken. I have had several treatments in the past and I know what type of results these procedures give and I am sad to say I wasted 100.00 plus gas and time. I would say spend the extra money at one of the other med-spas because you will get better results! Most of the places will give you a follow up call to check on your status this place did not. I learned my lesson the hard way by trying to save some money but as my headline says "You get what you pay for!" I wish I would have spent the extra money and had it done right the first time. I am sure this place has other treatments that are worth the savings you get. The staff was nice and the place was clean. I was just way disappointed in this particular service.

i went National Laser Institute for a cellulite reduction treatment called the velashape 2 which i researched and it is apparently the newest thing out there. I noticed a change after the first treatment and i am going in for my third treatment next week. I cant wait to see the results!

Pros: Great deal, nice people!

In 2009 i was working at a job where i was an office assistant. The people were nice enough, but it was pretty much a dead end job. I had always been interested in beauty and skin, so I thought maybe I should try that type of business instead. I considered esthetics school, but when I found out that I could work in a med spa too doing laser hair removal and other laser treatments like that I decided to check out medical esthetics schools instead.

After reading school reviews and doing some research I decided to go to national laser institute for my training. My teachers like kris and shelley made the classes so much fun and my class was able to get our training certification in two week. This is a good thing since I had bills to pay and couldnt take a year out of life for regular esthetics school or college. I have a great job now in a dermatology office and its awesome to have a fun job that i actually like coming to every day. anyway, thats my story. thought I'd share it
