I have to agree, the best sweet potato fries ever... sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and served with an aioli which tones down all the sweetness of the dish.

Burger, pizza, and drinks were all good. The service was spotty at times as they started getting busy but overall great place to eat. I removed one stars because of their projector... we were placed at a table in direct sight of the projector and it got so annoying that we had to move tables. I hope they figured it out and moved the projector or at least aim it higher!

Fez is a nice trendy restaurant with cool, urban decor and atmosphere. The music is always energetic and the food is terrific! Try their green apple salad - it's so refreshing. The food is very wholesome, but they have some fun "junkier" type foods, too. :) Thursday night is cheap martini nights and you better go then, unless you want to pay A LOT for a drink. That's their only downside. A bit pricey. :)

The best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Absolutely scrumptious burgers. Fun, kind of wild atmosphere. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. I've been twice so far and will go back again. It's also open later than most, making it nice for after a downtown date night.

My partner and I had heard great things about the place. The space itself is pretty cool; very urban, chic, and trendy. Granted, it was Friday night and we expected it to be busy...but having to wait 20 minutes at the bar while three bartenders and what looked to be a manager flirted with each other was unacceptable. We attempted to get a table in the bar area, only to be rudely told by a staff member that it was reserved. The table remained empty for exactly two miliseconds when other standing patrons quickly grabbed it, and did not get the same scolding "it's reserved" comment. We then stepped away from the bar area and sat down on the makeshift seating next to the leather couch. Twice, the manager-esque looking fellow tried to take my half-full cosmo. We thought sitting outside might be nice, so I asked the 'host' for a table on the patio. He advised that half the patio had just opened up, and he would come get us in a moment. Forty minutes later, eight parties had been escorted to the patio for seating ahead of us. When the 'host' finally approached and asked if we were ready for our table, we told him we wouldn't be staying. Completely unconcerned by our looks of disgust, he said, "ok", and pranced back to the front door. As we were finishing our drinks, a group of seven guys came in and took over the leather sectional. Within 5 minutes, they all had drinks and 2 managers had been by to schmooze them. It's too bad the same courtesy isn't extended to all of Fez's patrons. Don't waste your time here...drive the extra 4 blocks to Switch.

Pros: trendy, chic, urban

Cons: awful service, uncaring waitstaff

I recommend this place, Chic with good people and good food, I love the lettuce wraps with dates!!.. so great!!!
They are open till late, and they are serving after 9.00 pm... there are not too many choices at that time in Phoenix. On Sundays the bottles of wine have a 50% of discount!!!... and they have a brunch now.
There are some special coffees and teas a little over prized, although they are good!!

Well I tell ya....I've had a few martiniis (I mean tonight) and it's been a long time since I've seen such a great selection of martinis on the menu. Yes, they can be on the higher end but worth it. The martini glasses are exactly what they should be, the drinks are very creative as well as the food. The atemosphere and the service were wonderful. 2nd ttrip here from quite a way out of the norm but I'll be back next Monday for their 3 yr. bday. Great place...really.

Been there several times. The atmosphere is cool but thats about all it has going for it. The staff is a bunch of rude queens which have no business in the service industry. Good luck getting silverware or heaven forbid a refill on your drink. The food is ok, not great and not horrible.

This quaint little place is by far one the nicest places I've ever eaten. Not only is it visually attractive, but their food is also to die for. Whether you're looking for a tasty salad, a mouthwatering burger, or those sweet cinnamon fries, this is the spot to find it! The typical all-American food mixed with some quirky edginess makes this restaurant and it's food one-of-a-kind.

Pros: Delicious and unique food, contemporary and urban atmosphere, friendly service, unusual seating areas.

Cons: Slightly loud at times, with music and people, but nothing unbearable.

Not a bad thing on the menu as far as I can tell....We have been several times at lunch and have used it for larger meetings in the evening.

I love the fish dishes - talapia out of this world.

My personal fave is the berry salad and the hummus!!!! Sweet potatoe fries are YUMMY!!

A little pricey for every day but its a nice treat every now and then.

Places like Fez give me hope that one day Phoenix will be a happening city. It's trendy in a good way and the food is delicious. It can be crowded, but worth the wait. I have never had to wait real long anyway. The Tangier burger is the best burger I have ever had - hummus, pesto, manchego cheese and the meat is so tasty! Warning - you will have garlic breath after eating this. It also comes w/ a salad on the side (how nice is that?) with a lemon dressing that I just love. They also have a standard American burger for all you food wimps.

When someone says hey you want to do lunch, The first thing I suggest is a trendy resturant named Fez. Their menu mixes it up if you want to feed a conservative eater there is alway the mouth watering Fez burger however on the other hand if you want something different try the Lamb Kisra, this dish is enough to feed two reasonably sized adults mix in a couple of margaritas' and a brownie a la mode and you have a great lunch for two. With the lamb, the drinks and dessert lunch for two is about $33.00 spilt it down the middle and you have great lunch for under $17.00 a person.

Waitress took quite a bit of time to server us as well as to bring our check. She also refused to split up our check for our lunch crowd. Thus this place is VERY LUNCH UNFRIENDLY for workers in downtown Phoenix. I'd only go there if you have a lot of time to spend. The food is original and tasty, but a bit overpriced. Shame about the service because we would have liked to include FEZ in our lunch rotation.

The decore is nice, the food is good and the prices aren't that bad. It's a little frou frou, so don't expect t.v.'s blasting football and beer guzzeling jocks. Do expect a great vibe, good people, and leafy greens on everything.

I go there several times a month with various groups of friends...never a mad experience. (Great patio).

We made resv.; a # in my group have been to FEZ, & have been satisfied w/the place prior. We were promptly seated, however, that was it. We waited 20 min for our waiter to finally introduce himself and get drink orders, only after he begged us not to hate himjust a little unprofessional and childishhe served us for awhile with another waiter until he seem to fall of the face of the earth, he was no longer to be found. 2nd waiter-EXCELLENT! I don't know if this was the 1st waiters 1st night because the table next to us was upset about something also. We felt the Food was excellent. Its unfortunate that one person can ruin the whole dining experience. I will try this location again and I will recommend this location to other people, but will warn them that some waiters just aren't meant to be waiters.

I went with 5 of my co-workers and we all loved what we offered. Just a delicious combination of flavors. Everyone just said it was delicious!! The fez, burger...hmmm hm hmm! The atmosphere is wonderful too. Very urban and hip! I almost felt like I was in NYC! We'll definitely be back !! The only thing is that it wasn't very Moroccan at all.

The food menu is very funky and the decor matches. The hummus is great (if u like super garlicky) which I do!!! It has the be the best hummus in the Valley. I'm a metro Detroiter where you can get good hummus everywhere, and this is the only hummus that compares here. I have had their Fez burger also. This is a GREAT burger. The flavors mesh together to form somethin beautiful and I'm not one of those foo foo eaters at all. Our waiter was also very prompt, knowledgable and helpful with the menu and friendly. Well worth the trip. I will go again and again and again!!

One word sums it up - AMAZING! I could go on and on, but you really need to check it out for yourselves

As for me, here are my faves....First start off with the pomogranitini, move on to the hummus, nibble at the strawberry salad (yes there are REAL strawberries in it - ha ha), eat the tangier burger as the main dish and if you have room, try ANY of their signature deserts. (and then don't eat for 2 days!)

It is everything central Phoenix has been waiting for!

A great place for drinks and great food. Finally Fez bring hip, young, urban life to downtown Phoenix. The martini's are great especially the mojito martini and the pomegrante martini. The restaurant has a great twist on American staples such as the Tangier or the Fez burger. The entrees are inexpensive for what they are especially the lamb chops...pure perfection. The Talapia...I can't wait to have it again. It's my new favorite place to dine.

Can you say cool? This chic spot oozes urban vibe, with an ultra-modern sleek decor, big-city fashionable clientele, incessant thumping bass notes that pass as music, and a good menu of typical Mediterranean tastes. Chicken lettuce wraps…
