This client had indeed no showed for an appointment and 3 days later cancelled 1 hr before her appointment. I offered her a walk-in status as a customer but due to no show and cancellation she would no longer be able to make appointments.

She drove down here to confront me and I offered to she her the computer system where she had indeed cancelled and no-showed. Not only for me as a stylist, but she had also scheduled her daughter with another stylist and of course did not bring her in either.

We are a very busy salon and it can take up to 2 weeks for a client to get an appointment with me. When a client books out $200 in services, and over 2 hours of time and does not show up, it is a problem.

This client drove down to confront me after our receptionist clearly explained nicely the entire situation. This is when I suggested she find a new stylist, and I would be happy to refer her to another salon.

I understand missing one appointment. But not showing up just 2 days later when we fit you in is another thing.

We offer you to make your own decision. Check our web site PSTucson dot com
Thanks ~ Juliette

My experience with this salon owner was so bad that I don't recommend anyone going to this salon.

I called up to make an appointment about a week ago and was told due to perpetual rescheduling and cancellation on the same day I couldn't make an appointment on the phone. I was floored because up until this point I thought I had been a good client. I have never missed or rescheduled an appointment with the owner Juliette. I said ?This is ridiculous there has been a mistake? and asked to speak with the owner who wouldn?t come to the phone.

I am a multiracial female with long, very curly hair so extra time is needed when scheduling to get my hair done properly and in most cases extra money. It has been a very frusterating experience trying to find a stylist that can do my hair right. Stylist take a look at my hair when it?s dry and straight and become overly confident on how much hair a truly have, then after they wash it and start to dry it they realize that I have enough hair for a whole other person. They get tired very quickly and I usually walk out of the salon in tears or in a great deal of pain due to their struggle in getting my hair straight.

I confronted the owner in person and she told me the computer said I had missed 2 appts. I then told her I had never rescheduled or missed an appt. that I computer was wrong. Her suggestion was that I find a new salon. I guess my hair was too much for her to handle or she just didn?t want to continue styling my hair. That is fine with me but I prefer the direct approach rather to make up a lie. I have gone to numerous salons over the years and I have never been treated like that before, by the owner no less.

My suggestions are some classes in customer service or politeness.

I was looking for a new stylist and was doing some searching when I decided to look into this salon's website www.pstucson(dot)com. I'm glad I did. Easily located near the University even though I'm not a student. The parking is in the back and the front door faces 6th St. so remember that. The atmosphere is clean, open, trendy but not too trendy, friendly/knowledgable staff, the lighting is good and the music is not so loud that you can't here each other talk. I would highly recommend Adam, stylist. Nice, down to earth young guy who has been in the field of hair design for 12+yrs. He not only listened to what I had in mind to do with my hair but then made some suggestions which I really liked. I have to say he has been the only one in a VERY long time that has styled my hair and I walked away very happy and not wanting to go home and redo it again. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed.

The cool thing about this salon is you can book your appt. online once you register. No strings attached.

Ok. So this place isn't tony & guy ~ everyone here has their own identity. It's not Gadabout either, don't bother bringing your 401k statement, you can afford this Spa. The staff is fun, friendly and they actually listen to you. You can put your feet up on the sofas, bring lunch or your family. It's what a Salon and Spa should be. The concepts are unique....ergonomical chairs to help your back, private styling stations so you don't feel ridiculous with all that foil on your head, a nail bar so you're not banging knees with your tech. This place has a wonderful feel, a central location and a great feel about it.

Ditch your stylist, and try someone who'll actually listen to you.
