I saw Dr. Austin about a lesion my dentist was concerned about. I was very nervous and worried about the situation and what the outcome would be. From the minute Dr. Austin walked into the room I was put to ease. He was very professional and cheerful throughout the consult and took the time to answer all of my questions. After I left his office, I felt so much better. I would highly recommend Dr. Austin to anyone!
Brinks Austin is a very competent surgeon. I needed bone grafts. I had to have them redone because my prior surgeon did a bad job. Dr. Austin did an excellent job. I needed one of the implants redone but it is a keeper.
He has a TERRIBLE bedside manner so be prepared. He is a surgeon, not a compassionate person. He expects to operate on you under anesthesia. If he does not, he gives lousy shots and gets impatient when you are in pain. So, do your best to pay for the extra anesthesia and you will be happy with him.
Wouldn't recommend to any person. Very low success implant rate. Horrible experience of implant placed by Dr. Austin. Could destroy and impact your quality of future life and harm your good teeth and sinus. Can cost your too much money and time to treat those complication.
I found Dr. Brinks to be cordial, competent and very professional. The job he did placing my dental implant went very well and I had a great outcome. I intend to use him again for another dental implant. I need. The implant was very expensive ($2,100) and the crown placed on the implant by my dentist cost an additional $1,100! That's a lot of money. I checked around for a dentist that did both the implant and the crown, but the ones I found were even MORE expensive.
