King's Fish House

Wonderful selection, great food and good service. That was our first impression of King's Fish House. We are seafood lovers and were anxious to try the menu. The fried oysters were a real treat, some of the best I've had in Phoenix.

If you like seafood you have to try this place, friendly as can be, prices are higher then in one of those chain restaurants but you also get so much more quality. Great place to take friends or out of town folks.

Food was over salted and over cooked. The fish variety is good but it's all cooked the same temperature -either broiled, blackened and fried - , no matter the kind of fish. Watch out for the rosemary potatoes - no rosemary here. Just a baked red potatoe cut in half with lots of salt that is supposed to have rosemary flovor. Reminded us of Denny's food.

I have dined there 2 other times this year and just loved the food and service but something else. Recently I tried to sign up for their mailing list. When it wasn't working I wrote the general manager a letter stating what was happening. All I wanted was to know when they were having special events. They responded so quickly and apologized for the problems. We just happen to be going there this Saturday with a big party. They offered us the Private Dining Room and said they would have 2 waiters there to help and make sure our dining experience was good. This is a good restaurant for a big party or small. With kids too. A little pricey, but well worth it for the quality of food you are served.
