.

I recently had knee surgery and had to pick a place for physical therapy. East Valley Physical Therapy was recommended. Their friendly staff took me for a tour. Their facility is really great. They have private rooms for special therapy such as massage or electrical stimulation, a workout room with raised mats for "floor" exercises, machines such as bicycles and stair climbers, weights and a lot more. The best part is the pool which is just the right depth to add resistance while being comfortable for non-swimmers. (they also have a deeper section). A therapist evaluates you and sets up a program. Assistants are there all the time to help you in and out of the machines and make sure you are doing the exercises correctly. Your assigned therapist meets with you every time and modifies the program as needed to keep you progressing. The dressing rooms for the pool are unusual in that they are individual (not men/women locker rooms) with each room having a sink, toilet and shower. They are also set up with a lift to assist people in wheelchairs into the pool. I have been to several other facilities and this is by far the best in terms of having complete therapy.
