dont trust your speed test. This company is Traffic Shaping, thus your speed test is not accurate. also do a pingtest at pingtest dot net.
I get 80-100% packet loss and 200ms ping.

Pros: none

Cons: doesnt work

I had SkyPix for about one year from, through parts of '06 and '07, and was very dissatisfied with both their Internet service itself and their customer service.

Their connectivity was horrible, we lost service on a very regular basis; at times outages lasted for several days. Their equipment failed regularly in this multi-family dwelling in the St. Paul area.

Also, their customer service was lacking. When I would call in to report outages I was, on numerous occasions, told the problem must only be in my unit because no other residents had called in to report a problem. I was also told, by the individual who setup the system for this particular building, that there was nothing wrong with the system and everything was working as designed. The next day someone called to report that, yet again, one of their amplifying units had burnt out causing an outage for the entire building.

The term "High Speed Internet" is also something this company uses loosely. They charged me over $35 per month for a connection that was only ten times as fast as a dial-up modem. I did some research and found other Internet providers in the area charging half that rate for more than twice the connection speed.

I would highly recommend staying away from SkyPix for Internet service if you have any other company to choose from. Their cable Internet is by far the worst I have ever had; in reference to both the service itself and the customer service backing it up. I have never subscribed to their television service and cannot comment on their quality of service in that branch of the company.
