Roasted Pear is a family owned, full service bar and restaurant in Burnsville, Minnesota. Often described as both elegant and casual, rustic and refined, the menu offers sophisticated salads, appetizers and brick-oven pizzas along with hearty pastas and meaty ribs and steaks. You won't go away unsatisfied. Especially if you order dessert! Roasted Pear is perfect for a business lunch, a special occasion dinner or a warm family brunch. Great options for kids and happy hour food and drink specials seven days a week. Celebrate any occasion with a glass of vintage wine from our climate-controlled cellar, an exotic cocktail or a mug of cold beer. No matter what you eat or drink, Roasted Pear will be a treat.
They have a unique menu filled with many adventurous selections--I recommend the Thai chicken pizza--as well as bar food staples--hamburger and fries. Although they decorations give a elegant feel, the TVs around the bar keep the atmosphere casual.

My wife and I tried this place for a late night dinner after a long week at work and it fit the bill. The food was very good and the service was very good. Our server was very attentive and checked in with us often to make sure that we had everything that we needed. We ended up sharing a Thai Chicken Pizza and the Roasted Pear Spinach Salad. Both were excellent! I would recommend this place to anyone!

We had invited my brother-in-law and his wife to join us for dinner at teh Roasted Pear. It was a convenient place to meet and heard it had a good menu. The menu was interesting. The ususal steak and fish options but alos some daringness with a Blue Cheese Shrimp dish, gargonzola steak, and interesting parmesean crusted walleye.
The walleye was cold and smothered in some sort of fakey cheese, the shrimp, shribbled and the Garginzola paste. My prime rib looked good, bit was cold. The garlic potatoes were cold and dry, the baked potatoe cold and the ravioli was not so tasty.
Service was prompt. Almost to fast at times but acceptable. We should have known there was some sort of problemn when we arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday and there were half a dozen open tables. Also should have known it was a wanna be place by the number of TV's lined up throughout the dining room. Sports bar?
Menu looks great but they need help cooking it.
Pros: Good menu selection, drinks were good, location
Cons: inadequate cooks, atmoshere is confusing,
