Split Rock Grille is poor service and over priced food. Even if you are sick of the usual chains go there over here.

This place is below average. It looks nice when you walk in but has poor service and average food. The prices are too high for what you get.

I am sorry but this had to be the worst restaurant I have ever been too. Their SIGNATURE products are so horrible for example their "Corn Bread" is a more of a scribble chicken scratch. The guy above must be on "top wanna be chef" to think this place is actually worth driving too. Whatever he probably works there.. The water park is the most over rated piece of.......... I would rather stay in a UV and hook up a hose to the waste tank and eat ice cream. YUCK! that reminds me of how good all their soups are.....

As a chef, I know what good service, food quality, and enjoyable experience is like. The split rock is the farthest place for a good place to eat I could imagine. The bartenders were more interested in getting the food out of their teeth and texting people then filling my empty glass.

THAT BEAR IS SCARY!!! IT SCARES MY KIDS!!

IF you want to be healthy, Don't eat at the split rock, it is HORRIBLE!!!

Pros: Exit signs are easy to spot....

Cons: Everything, even the bathrooms that have never been clean

Part of the Grand Lodge Hotel and Waterpark of America. Exceptional value for great food. The overall theme is a Minnesota based lodge. When you walk into the restaurant, you're greeted with large photograph's of the Split Rock Lighthouse in northern Minnesota. The bar is stylish and trendy with two large flat screen televisions located behind the bar. There is a lounge area with couches and tables located within the bar. The only drawback to the bar area is that it is quite small. The patio features a fire pit and heat lamps for those cold Minnesota nights. No children are allowed in the bar. The restaurant is extremely kid friendly with offering like chicken tenders, kid burger's, walleye fingers, and other fanfare. Also, the desserts offered will peak a child's interest as well as an adults. Overall, the menu is comfort food and midwest based. Open faced potroast sandwich is one of the best offerings. Walleye fingers, broiled walleye, fried walleye and a walleye sandwich are all offered, setting the tone for all things Minnesotan. The wild rice soup, which is made in house, is very popular. Another popular item is the cornbread. It is served hot and in a warm skillet. There is something on the menu for everyone! They also do weekly specials rotating in a new beef and fish dish every week. They've done halibut, rainbow trout, ribeye, filet mignon, and others.

Pros: the food ... atmosphere ... weekly specials ...

Cons: can be a bit noisy ...
