Glamour Shots

I just had my pictures done in Mall of America location.
Before you make an appointment,that requires $20 non refundable deposit,ASK QUESTIONS!Detailed questions about products that you want and pricing.It is ridiculously overpriced.
Now here is my feedback.Our photographer Nicky was great.She took nice pictures, was professional and very helpful.That is about where good part ends.
They offer makeovers and charge $30 for it.It is total waste of your money.If you do your own hair and make up reasonably well -do it yourself.If not, pay someone who is a professional and does it well.Girl that did my make up and hair was clueless.
I asked her to lift my roots a bit and give my hair some volume.To my surprise she started TEASING my straight waist long hair.I told her I usually use styling products and either jumbo sized hot rollers or at least round brush and hair dryer.She said they did not have anything like that.Only thing she had was a curling iron,so after I asked her not to tease my hair ,she combed out tangles with her fingers and proceded to fry my hair with hot curling iron.I could not wait for her to just be done and leave me alone.
Make up sucked too.No one mentioned a word about any airbrush make up,that is advertised.I ended up having clumped up eyelashes that is barely there and on some up close pictures it's visible.They do not use eyelash curlers.I ended up with ton of foundation ,that made my face very pale and unnatural. I wanted to go shopping after photo soot but didn't because of the makeover I got.
I was surprised how beaten up and outdated place looked especially because it's in Mall of America of all places.One of the employes was wearing a top with runs and holes all over.
Today two weeks later,when I picked up CD with my 4 pictures that I paid total $380 (that's with $100 off groupon)person at the counter put down a young girl that was trying to be helpful.Right in front of me employee of Glamor Shots snapped at a coworker for finding my pictures faster and presumably making her look stupid.
What a miserable place to work.
Next time I want some pictures I will look for a small local business.I regret purchasing a Groupon for Glamor Shots.

The staff (Emily, Kia and Jeff) was incredible, friendly and very professional. Jeff served as an excellent photographer ?? very creative poses. I came in spending way more money than I thought I would because I loved how the pictures turned out!!!
