We are moving to the Minneapolis area from out of state and looking to transfer our USAG level 5 gymnast to a local gym program. We met Don Heideman the head coach in person and spoke to him several times on the phone. He had a bizarre manner. Instead of just saying "our program is full and we are not accepting transfer athletes at this time," (which would have been annoying but completely understandable), he kept us hanging for a while before finally saying that there was no room in the program, which he did by implying that the addition of my 9-year-old to his program would tip the balance of quality and compromise safety at his gym, which was frankly offensive. As a mother, I tell my kids daily that "safety is #1" and I obviously don't want anyone running an unsafe gym. Don should have handled this much more professionally and gracefully and just told us up front that his program was full and he wasn't accepting any new athletes.

This gymnastics school is a family...they have staff that stays employed there for years....and years. They offer a wide range of activities for children of all ages and skill levels. From the preschool classes that are taught by older staff (oh, so important!). The prices are higher than others, but the family you end up with is worth the higher price. The office help also has great customer service. World Class facility.
