They don't want to deal. They way under bid you trade. They think they have you in a corner somehow, and that someone else will pay their ridiculous prices. Maybe they'd learn if people quit tolerating this crap.

Did a lot of research ahead of of time and knew the Sonota was our first choice. Working with Carrie McWilliams at the Luther Bloomington dealership was the one of the best car buying experiences we have had. Very customer orinated, answered our questions with knowledge and facts. The Luther dealership is also Costco certified. First trip 1322 miles, 38.8 avg. mpg at avg of 64 mph. Well over 550 miles per tank. The car rides and handles like an auto costing twice as much. The 2.4 liter is more than adequate in any driving condition. The ECO feature has been modified to actually change shift points etc. when activated. I researched every mid size sedan and the Hyundai Sonata wins hands down, buying from the Luther dealership was icing on the cake. Will I deal with them again, yes.

Buying our Hyundai Tucson from Bloomington Hyundai, was the first time we actually enjoyed purchasing a new vehicle. Ron Ruben was great to work with & very knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy or sell you a gold plated toilet bowl to go with it. The closer Christian was great to work with also. The customer service at Luther Bloomington Hyundai was awful. I was disrespected left in the dark on the status of the progress of service and several phone messages left unanswered. I am forced to use this establishement because of a service contract but after the service I just received I am thinking of selling my car and getting into something else just so I don't have to go back to Luther Bloomington!

I've got a Hyundai Sonata with 10 year/100,000 mile "bumper to bumper" warranty. I've never had a problem with warranty service, ever. I pick up my car, and the price is $0.00. I never get any pressure to purchase unwanted services. I never get any grief for have regular maintenance performed elsewhere. I would never buy a Hyundai without an extended warranty considering how many system failures I've had.

In eight years I've had the following replacements: a transmission, wheel bearing, ignition coil, windshield wiper linkage, side airbag, body trim clips

Other services are priced excessively high in my opinion. While doing warranty work, they charged me $120 to reconnect a loose wire for my airbag. If it had to be replaced, it'd be covered under the warranty, but since it was merely loose, I had to pay. I was shocked to receive a bill for $650 to replace spark plug wires that were 1,100 miles out of warranty. Regular 30,000 mile check-up maintenance; $531.

5/6/2011 I just had both front wheel bearings replaced, again. They were just replaced 6,000 miles ago. The work was top notch. I just always have this nagging feeling that Hyundai scrimps on quality to keep the cost down. I guess the old adage is true, you get what you pay for.

On the other hand, the total cost of ownership of this car over the last 9 years has been extremely good. So what am I complaining about?

I had a great experience at Luther Bloomington. I started my search on CarSoup.com and contacted three dealers about a vehicle I was interested in. They were the first to get back to me and were so friendly and helpful. I was able to do much of the process online which means I didn't have to spend all day at the dealership. When I walked in I was greeted very warmly by all of the staff. Carrie was my sales associate and went above and beyond of what I expected. She was always available and eager to answer my questions. I highly recommend this dealership.

Much to my dismay, I discovered a small dent on the back of my trunk after I returned home with my brand new Sonata. I was heartsick that I didn't see it before I left the dealership but called them right away. They told me they would take care of it and they certainly did. I brought it back after the weekend and they gave me a loaner car and took it to Luther Collision. Both the service manager at the dfealer and the collision guy called to tell me what they would do and it came back looking brand spanking new!

This place is horrible!!! Traded my car in on November 26, the loan didn't get paid off until Dec 26. The finance department doesn't know what they are doing. BEWARE IF YOU ARE TRADING YOUR VEHICLE IN!!! Besides all of this I was happy
