Poplar Fine Jewelry & Loan

When you first walk in , you can tell this place is a step above everyone else. The staff & merchandise are second to none. I found a pair of diamond stud earrings for my wife for less than half the mall prices, got my son some PS3 games for less than they sell at GameStop & I got a Dewalt 18v drill for for half the retail! I stop in at least once a week to see what new items they get in. You never know what you are gonna see !!

I'm divorced now after a five year marriage and wanted to sell my 3/4 carat diamond engagement ring and wedding band. I went to Smyth Jewelers in Timonium to sell them because that is where we bought them and they told me to go to Poplar Jewelry & Loan because Poplar would pay me more than they would.

I walked in with a ring and bad memories and walked out with cash!

I went back and sold them my broken jewelry the next day.

I got two rings sized and a necklace fixed and saved about $50 over estimates I got elsewhere.

I also bought a diamond and gold ring in their estate section for my wife at a price so low I had to take it. The sales associate told me: "they had deals on their estate jewelry ! ! !" and then he proved it to me.

My wife loves the ring and has no idea what a great deal I got on it.

WOW ... I sold my old and broken jewelry there for almost twice as much as two other places offered me and made a loan on jewelry I didn't want to sell. To top it off they gave me a free month loan as a first time customer! They really helped me out of a jam when I needed help.

Everyone was very friendly also.

Poplar Jewelry and Loan has earned my business for life!!!

They offered my much less than Smyth Jewelry. The estimate
they gave was downright laughable. I will never return to this store
for any reason whatsoever.
