DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! Took bike to get inspected. Failed on the bike. Not surprised just wanted to see exactly what all was needed to pass the bike. What was a shock was the fact that they neglected to put bolts back in to hold the fuel tank to frame and also "forgot" to replace fuel valve bolt. Don't go to this place if you want piece of mind while riding your bike!
Belair and Baltimore stores. First credit where credit is due. Having purchased 3 motorcycles over the last 5 years I would rate the sales department as very good. I was allowed to test drive the bikes I was interested in and was able to negotiate a fair price. They made me feel important.
Belair store only. The service department is a den of thieves and liars. I took a bike in for a coolant leak and a service. I was assured the leak would be covered under the warrenty. I purchased.. It may have been. But they were unable to produce any documentation as to how the leak was fixed. And it was still leaking! As far as the servicing went, they refused to show me the repair order until I paid the $600.00 bill. This showed me that they changed the oil that I told them not to change and replaced the spark plugs. They could not tell me what the valve clearances were. Only that they were in spec.. All of this took nearly 3 weeks. When I went to pick it up, it was filthy.. A service cover had a deep scratch, there were plastc bags melted on the mufflers and one of the body panels was installed incorrectly. I felt taken advantage of. Why didn't I leave it for them to straighten out? No thanks, no way, never again.
As a long standing customer of your sales and service department, I feel I must inform you of the unsatisfactory service received from your Bel Air store. On Thursday, April 28, 2010 I placed a call to the Bel Air store to schedule to have my bike inspected, a new tire put on, and to have the carburetors balanced and cleaned. I was instructed to ??bring the bike in at any time and they would get right on it?. When the bike was dropped off on 5/3/2010 it was made very clear that a tire was to be ordered and put on the bike, even if the old tire would pass inspection. After one week with no word from the shop I called to inquire as to the status of the bike. I was informed in a very rude manor that they were still waiting on the tire. This set me back. After repeated phoned calls I was quoted a price and told I could pick up my bike on 5/20?17days after it was dropped off. Drove 25 miles to borrow a trailer to bring the bike home, went to pick the bike up and it is still not ready.

I purchased my 2008 Hayabusa from the Pete's Cycle in Severna Park. What a mistake ! Their service department is horriable twice they have refused to fix warranty issues that I had to fix myself. I got a saftey recall from Suzuki for the ignition wire. They told me I had to drop the bike for 48hr for a 5 minute inspection and then if it needs to be fixed another 3-5 days. They said it's because of the amount of work they have and it's 1st come 1st serve. Are you kidding me It's a f*cking saftey recall on a bike I purchased from them. So my saftey comes 2nd to thier profits. I called another dealership in the area (Freestate Cycle)who was smart enough to have already ordered the parts. They said bring it in and they will do the inspection and if need be fix it all while I wait. I would never recommend those jokers at Pete's Cycle for any type of service and I will personally never send or use Pete's Cycle Ever again for any of my motorcycle needs.
