I purchased a Groupon for Sa Sa's spa in June and called to make an appointment. After about 30 call attempts I FINALLY got through and spent 30 minitues talking on the phone to a total nut job just to book an appointment, and finally a date for the appointment was set. THEN a couple of weeks later they called to "confirm" an appointment and promptly canceled it as I was working when they called and unable to answer my personal phone. I tried several times to reschedule but no such luck. I called Groupon today and asked for a full refund which they prompty did. Groupon is awesome and I will continue to buy from them. Sa Sa's staff conducted themselves in a very unprofessional way and I will never attempt to get services there. Not a spa experience at all!!!!!

As eyerkes recently posted, I too had a groupon for an hour massage and foot treatment. I also had to email back and forth because phone volume was too much to handle. I finally schedule an appointment in June for September. I go in for my appointment and I'm told they were bought in august and are no longer honoring groupons. They "had a meeting with groupon and canceled them all". The new owner said she tried to contact everyone that was scheduled, but some people must have been missed because they weren't in the database. Well, my phone number and email were required to make the appointment, yet I was not notified. Basically I was told "sorry, but we'll give you 20% off if you want to make another appointment". Like I would want to spend all that money at a place that has no regard for customer service. The new owner stressed that the spa is under new management and the craziness of scheduling groupons was a reason why the old owner is gone, but from reading past reviews and my experience today, it seems pretty much like more of the same, people just pointing fingers, and the clients being the ones who lose. It's unfortunate that a rating is required because I would give zero stars.

I purchased a few of the groupon massage and foot scrub sessions for SaSa. I recently purchased a groupon for a massage and foot exfoliation at Sa Sa's and experienced the worst customer service when I tried to book an appointment. I had to email back and forth several times before being told that there were no appointments available in the next two months. I requested that all available appointment times be sent to me in the hopes that I would find one that would work, and after receiving no response for over 3 weeks, I went in person to book the appointment. The receptionist would take no ownership for the arduous process I endured to simply get an appointment (I went in June and the first available appointment was September!) I had a horrible experience with SaSa Spa. I saw that there was a Groupon for a massage and foot scrub, and it was a pretty good deal. I called and booked the services BEFORE I purchased the Groupon. About a month before we would be in Baltimore for the weekend, I received a call saying there was a mix up, and they couldn't accommodate us on that weekend. I was on hold with the manager/scheduling person for about 20 minutes, and he hung up on me. After trying several times to call back, I finally got through, and he had the nerve to say I hung up on him. He would not accommodate us, even though it was their screw up. They were not professional. Since it was their mistake, they should have called in massage therapists to cover it. Honestly, after reading how horrible they are, I'm glad Groupon is just giving me a refund. I would not recommend using this spa.

I did not have a good experience at SaSa Spa and would NOT recommend it to others. The services left A LOT to be desired. For example, I'm not sure the woman who gave me a pedicure had ever done it before... she told me that she had needed a job and SaSa needed someone to give pedicures and she had started only a few days before... it was terrible! The owners put on a good show at the beginning but by the end of the visit they were extremely rude... disturbingly rude. I will certainly not be returning here and would advise against it to other as well.

Wonderful spa located in a very unassuming area. I had scheduled their special for three hours of service and I was there for almost four hours, with no extra charge. The people made me feel very welcome and listened to my wants and concerns. I will definitely go back!

Well when you first walk in you are stunned @ how nice everything is. Everyone welcomes you with a smile and offers you free stuff to do. Very generous and very professional service.

I would recommend this day spa to anyone looking to upgrade or simply to have the best in Baltimore for a lot less cost.

The manager/ receptionist calls us liars, yells at us on the phone, refuses to let us speak to the owner, hangs up on us , and then charges us 50% for services never rendered. No heads up about this policy when the appointment was made. I can't believe that the salon would put someone so rude as the first interaction when a client walks in.
