What a disappointment! My mom went in to get her windshield replaced 4 months ago. She is short so she did not see the distorted spot just above her line of sight. When I went to drive her car recently I noticed the spot immediately as it is in my line of sight. The spot is so bad I have to lean to the side to avoid it - it's horrible. I suggested to my mom that she try and see if Healy can replace it as she's trying to sell the car now and people are commenting on the spot. My mom went in to Healy, and the owner denied seeing the spot. He even said, ""how do I know you didn't go to some other place and have it replaced"" He told her she would have to pay full price to have it replaced. After she told me about what happened, I thought there's gotta be some misunderstanding, so I called and spoke to the owner. He continued to deny the fact that there was distortion. I told him it's a defective piece of glass and he said well I have to return defective items to the manufacturer within 30days or I don't get credit. Ok, I get it's been 4 months but if the guy would have come out and acknowledged the spot and said hey due to the time frame you will probably have to pay for the glass then I get that! That is fair. But this guy blatantly lied and basically accused us of lying. This guys is a piece of work.
