Isobune is a fun place to go because of the sushi boats. But the sushi is not that fresh. The nice thing is that you can order from the waiters if you don't see the item you want.

This is a kaiten sushi ("conveyer belt sushi") but it has a twist: they send them around on boats! That is probably one of the only cool things I found about this place. It's pretty small so the wait can be a while. The sushi is ok, definitely not amazing. The selection is not all that great either.

Pros: It's in Japan Town - buy a sake set next door when you're done eating!

Cons: nothing I can think of

.

Good heavens their quality has gone down significantly in the past years!

I believe they were recently bought out and by the selection passing by, you would think you went into a Korean restaurant instead. Virtually 85% of the food passing by was prepared in some sort of way (not fresh) and there seemed to be a profusion of kim chee on everything too.

Enough is enough. I'm never going here again.

It's fun to eat @ Isobune, because there are BOATS going around. Also, it's easy for people who are not familiar with sushi, since you get to pick whatever you like from the boats. The Chefs are constantly making sushi in front of you,
