The Maria Montessori School of the Golden Gate, founded by the late Dr. Ursula Thrush, is designed for children from toddler through elementary school age. Based on Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy, the school offers programs designed to nurture the physical, social, cognitive and emotional development of each student. The Maria Montessori School of the Golden Gate is a Non-Profit Corporation, which provides three levels of Montessori education as well as Daycare.

The Maria Montessori School is a great school. The teachers are excellent. I see the children in preschool and elementary thriving and happy. The children are learning so much. The work that the children are doing is outstanding.
All the children are happy and are in a safe environment.
I would recommend this school to anyone.My personal experience was great.

Waste of time. Students basically get 4 days (short days of education) per week as Fridays are "art day" which means that the credentialed teacher/principle is off, so the assistants supervise kids that color and play! Too many kids don't know how to read and write...not sure how the justify the money they are taking. Run away from this school.
