.

My contractor used Beard to put a pump and tank into an existing well when my home was built\nFrom the beginning, I drew sediment and Beard sold me a variety of filters, saying it was normal to draw sediment. Then, with the first big rainstorms, I drew a lot of mud. Beard was not available so I had a different pump company come out and evaluate the problem. \nI had a breach in my well at exactly the spot that Beard had left my pump and they could NOT get the pump beyond the breach.\nWhen I asked Beard about the issue they tried to tell me that they left the pump 50 feet higher than where the breach was found (inferring they did not know about breach) yet the paperwork Beard generated when placing the pump clearly showed it was at the level in the well that had a breach\nI had to drill a new well and that cost would have been a cost I would have sustained anyway but the extra trenching and piping would have been avoided - also had to replace the tank because it was ruined by the sediment.\nFinally, Beard laid PVC piping above ground going to and from tank that leaked multiple times during the time it was in use and I have since come to understand that PVC piping expands and contracts so leaks are always a problem.\nSO, my opinion of Beard is that they do substandard work and then fail to take responsibility
