I generally try to avoid Rite-Aid stores altogether because they are notorious for terrible customer service - going way back to when they were Thrifty. However, the Pharmacy in this store leaves a lot to be desired. I recently went to get a refill on a prescription that I had transferred there because they had a promotion where you get a $20 gift card upon the transfer and a $5 gift card each time you refill it. I very nicely asked the pharmacy clerk how I go about getting the $5 gift card for the refill and she suddenly starting yelling at me that it would be mailed to me. She whipped out the promotion ad and shoved it in my face to prove that is what it said! I asked her to stop being so disrespectful and rude to me, since all I did was ask her a simple question. She flew off the handle yelling about how she could not wait until that promotion ended! It was utterly shocking to see an employee of a store fly off the handle like that. She should have been fired on the spot. I could still hear her yapping as I was leaving the store all the way in the front. When you go on the Rite-Aid web site, the first thing it says is how they take pride in the customer service! Ha!
