Woodland Hills Urgent Care

Not horrible, but there are better alternatives

this urgent care has moved to woodland hills, which is simply much better. i was just there the other day. thanks.

Our family was going traveling abroad and we decided to go to this clinic for some vaccinations. it was ok.

I would like to thank the Dr's and staff at Woodland Hills Urgent Care for the excellent care given to my 15 year old daughter. After taking her to the ER and waited for 6 hours she was complaing of shortness of breath and pain in her chest. They took a chest XRAY and said it was normal. ER physicians stated only after examining my daughter for 2 minutes that her symptoms were due to sport activity "" Sore Muscles"" .\r
When my daughter continued to complain of her symptoms hours after being seen in the ER I drove around in search of urgent care. I found Woodland Hills open at 11:30 pm. My daughter was seen right away by a wonderful physician assistant Michelle, she ordered a chest XRAY 2 views ( ER did only 1 view ) to find out my daughter had Pneumonia. They put her on IV, Antibiotics right away which practicaly saved her life. I didnt care how much it cost , my daughter's life is worth a million times more. I rather pay for life saving treatment than let my daughter go misdiagnosed by the ER physician who is trying to save NOT MY DAUGHTER'S LIFE BUT THE INSURANCE COMPANY MONEY. IAM FOREVER THANKFUL TO THIS WONDERFUL URGENT CARE. They actually stayed open till 2am so my daughter could finish her IV treatment and NOT rush us out and they also had the lab called for a STAT pick up of my daughter's specimine. It is amazing that this Urgent Care has the capability to provide these much needed services. in her follow care (WHICH WERE FREE OF CHARGE) Dr. Javaherian was great explaining results in detail to us and answered all of our questions. Again I Thank You Soooo Much.

If you are to frequent this clinic, you must make sure to get everything in writing on the invoice, especially for all services rendered.
