I work for a company that banks here as an accountant. Every time I go to the bank to do anything, there are complications. I don't have a bank account with Wells Fargo because of their terrible customer service, their random and abundant fees, their To Big To Give A Crap About You attitude, there are multitudes of people walking around doing nothing while people wait to be served, and the fact they their employees really don't know the company's policies! Anyways, I go to cash petty cash for the cash box and the woman at the merchant service window tells me I would have to wait in the long line next time because I don't have an account with them. I explain that this transaction is for the business, not for me personally. She persists in telling me that next time I'd have to wait in the other line. This is not their policy - as I am doing business for a merchant account holder she should be able to help me. As a smart ass, I tell her, ""Well you guys don't give much incentive to open an account because your customer service is terrible."" She gets pissed and tells me to go stand in the other line without cashing my check. There is no one in her line for a long while and the transaction would have taken her a couple minutes at most. I should be grateful that she proved my point that the customer service is terrible.
