The best chips around. They make their chips fresh daily and can be purchased in a small or large bag. It is definitely worth the extra money to spend to buy fresh instead of getting the overprocessed chips in the store. Food is pretty good and when I had their catered food at a party, it was delicious. Each location is family owned. Do not expect a friendly greeting by the employees, but where they lack in service, they make up for it in flavor. Don't pass up the cinnamon-sugar chips, they are a delicious treat!

This place has got some good food - not the absolute best anywhere, but pretty darn good. Love the burritos, the machaca, and the rajas tamale. There are few tables to sit at, and the hours are limited. They also don't sell any tamales during the holidays unless you have placed an order in advance, so be warned. They also sell chips, salsa and guacamole for a quick fix or something to take to a party. Highly recommended!

Small take-out place. A lot of the food is greasy but the carnitas plate is good. They sell fresh guacamole in pre-packaged containers from a self serve refrigerator and it's great. It's usually busy with a line almost out the door but it's quick.

I love the food here at Las Golondrinas! Their wet tamales are delicious (although they're probably not that health for me!) and they have the best toquitos in the area. I also love their rice, and I often mix it with the beans. They sell great chips, guacamole, salsa, etc. I'd eat here everyday if it wouldn't give me a heart attack! Most everything is at a reasonable price considering the quality of food that you get. I recommend this Las Golondrinas!

It's a crying shame there?s only 1 review for Las Golondrinas, and it's from a guy who doesn't know what he's talking about. I've eaten at the Laguna Hills and the SJC locations for years, and I've never seen an orange cheese

Pros: Food, prices, food

Cons: Very few tables

.

I'm not from Mexico but I'm pretty sure that nacho cheese (the orange stuff you get at baseball games and movie theaters) is not authentic. The worst "mexican" food I've ever had.
