Andrea Total Skincare

Andrea's been doing my lash and brow tints ever since I moved to SF 3 years ago and she is by far the best aesthetician I've had since I started tinting my eyelashes twenty years ago!! She handles the brush like a painter - very precise. My lashes are nice and dark (which I need since I'm a redhead) every time and stay that way for at least 4-6 weeks. I also love how creative she is dying my brows. The ends of my brows are lighter than the rest of the brows so she applys dye to the ends before the other sections to ensure my brow color is consistent. In addition to being a great aesthetician Andrea is a wonderful lady - warm and funny. You will love Andrea!

Andrea has been taking care of my skin for a few years now. I was a monthly habitue of the aesthetician's chair for years before I met her, so I have plenty of experience to compare. Andrea operates a truly independent business, which means she is able to carefully select her product lines according to her training and expertise and the needs of her clients (instead of being forced to use a specific line because of a salon contract or franchise operation). This is no skin-care assembly line - you will be treated individually, carefully and professionally by some of the best hands in the business. I am constantly complimented on the state of my skin, and despite being in a less-than-ideal money situation recently, have always tried to find funds to continue skin care, especially as I am now in my 40s and it's more important than ever. Andrea has a special touch and expertise in problem skin conditions - but she's equally excellent at the 'routine maintenance' which is critical to maintain youthful-looking and HEALTHY skin. I have been getting facials at Total Skin Care by Andrea for several years now. Try the Dermo-sound it is awesome! My face always feels so great afterward. Plus, you leave feeling totally relaxed. Andrea knows skin and she will find the best way to treat your skin.

At 15, I thoroughly enjoyed my first facial at Total Skin Care by Andrea. She is very knowledgeable about skin care and gave me great tips about how to keep my skin healthy. Contrary to what I anticipated, my facial was virtually painless. Andrea's soothing treatments and calming environment ensured my complete relaxation. At the end of my session Andrea gave me free samples of a face wash and a fruity-smelling oil-free sunscreen to take home. I left her spa rejuvenated, with a great experience, and a glowing complexion.

I have facials on a regular basis and have been to several spas in the area, in terms of great service and excellent value this is it! Andrea is very thorough and gentle, uses great products and overall does an excellent, excellent job. The location itself is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Total Skincare by Andrea.

I have been seeing Andrea for skin care for six years and my skin has never looked better! I am sixty years old so that is saying something. In fact, after I began regular treatments with Andrea my mother thought I had a facelift! Andrea is so caring and generous and really wants her clients to have great skin. Then there is her treatment chair/table/couch! It is heaven to get into the warm, preheated sheets and to be cocooned in comfort and relaxation. I love going to see Andrea for skin care and I am very happy with the results.

I've visited a number of aestheticians over the years, but none like Andrea. She cares so much for her clients - how they feel and whether they're enjoying the experience. It's clear that Andrea takes her craft seriously - from the setup of her space, to the quality of the products she uses, through to her bedside manner. And her chair! It's the best (just try it, and you'll see what I mean). Most of my prior experiences with aestheticians left my face feeling ouchy, but with Andrea it felt great. I'd recommend her to anyone interested in getting quality skin care from someone who knows what she's doing.

She?s warm, friendly and comprehensive ? she listens to your skin goals and does her best to help you achieve them. I have been going to her for over a year and can?t express how great! my face looks and feels. All my life, I have been buying the latest skincare product hoping to prevent and reverse signs of aging. After thousands of dollars and a closet full of half-used treatments, I had the good fortune of meeting Andrea. After my first visit, my skin condition was noticeably improved. And, after five years of regular treatments, my skin is in better condition than when I was in my twenties. She assesses which treatment will be most beneficial each time I visit, according to the condition of my skin. Her peel series and dermasound treatments literally take years off of your skin leaving a bright, hydrated complexion. People who have known me for a long time comment on how great my skin looks when they see me. I am a financial advisor and sometimes older clients tell me I look too young to have been in the business for 20 years.

She is so knowledgeable about her profession and the product lines she carries and always explains the benefits of what she is doing.

Speaking of the product lines, I remained optimistic that there was a 'hope in a bottle' cure out there from the major department stores and have actually run tests of highly touted products from very expensive lines (La Mer, La Prairie) against those that Andrea recommends. Without fail, the product lines she recommended had noticeable benefits. She definitely knows her stuff.

A visit with Andrea is a great experience. Don't miss it.

I have been to several other aestheticians in the past for facials but none have been as professional, knowledgeable and, above all, gentle and caring. Having a facial by Andrea is more than just a facial. It is a relaxing experience - a time to treat yourself special and Andrea knows just how to provide that peaceful environment. She spends time to understand what your needs are and then explains very carefully what treatment options she recommends. I look forward each and every appointment.

When I came to Andrea I was 8 months away from my wedding and my skin needed an overhaul. I was completely uneducated about how to treat my skin, what products to use, and what a good facial could really do...until I met Andrea. In a matter of a few months she completely changed the look and feel of my skin. She uses innovative and quality ingredients and the most up-to-date technology to prevent break-outs and keep my skin hydrated. The deep pore cleansing treatment is my usual and it is a fabulously relaxing experience every time! Andrea is gentle, kind, and very talented at what what she does. As a result, not only did I have a fresh and luminous face on my wedding day, I also have an aesthetician that really knows my skin and is just as committed as I am to keeping it healthy.

I've been to other places in the past for facials and they were painful and they did not explain what they were doing to me. Andrea takes the care and time to explain the procedure to me and she is VERY GENTLE in everything she does, whether it's waxing or just getting the pimples out. She is just a wonderful asthetician!

When you walk in to the world of total skin care by Andrea your treated very special. I travel between S.F,L.A and Paris and finding her is like winning the Oscar. Having African American skin is very hard to find a person that can treat it. Traveling a lot is very hard on my skin . I book my appointment for the whole year with her just to know that she will have time for me. When I'm working on my clients on Photos shoots are working in my salon they always as about my skin. I always like to share the love.

Andrea personifies everything I look for in my skincare specialist - Professional, incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and a truly nice person. The products she uses are the best and the results speak for themselves. You begin relaxing as soon as you enter the salon and it just gets better from there. The bed is so comfortable and cozy. The parking was no problem, a real plus in SF. Coming in for my treatments is something I look forward to and is an experience I highly recommend.
