stylish variety that covers every base

Since Item opened, I have met most all of my shoe and accessory needs at this wonderful style resource. Before Item, there was usually a series of frustrating visits to Nordstrom and Macy's, and then the inevitable trip to San Francisco. Fortunately, I have saved money on gas by not going over the bridge, and put it into shoes--a great investment! I recommend Item for any woman seeking classic to metro styles and who wants the most style impact for time spent shopping. I have referred dozens of shoe and accessory admirers to Item.

The selection of shoes is top notch. I just got back from NY and shopped for shoes a ton. Item is as good or better than anything I saw. In addition,the store is beautiful, very comfortable and the people couldnt be nicer. Do not miss the sales twice a year. They are terrific.

most fantastic shoes and accessories in the bay area

the owner, Joy Goldberg has absolutley fantastic taste. She really loves to get involved with styling an outfit. Bring in a new dress and she'll find the best shoes and accessories to accompany it. The store itself is elegant but not fussy. It is very comfortable to spend some time briowsing and buying. The parties she has there are fantastic as well. Don't miss a chance to check this gem out!

Hot Fashion!!!

Thank you Joy! I had no idea the fabulous service I would receive. I was in town visiting before my relocation and stopped by. Your fabulous collection forced me to leave the store with several pairs of shoes a designer bag and some great earrings that I now wear all the time. What a secret this store is. Tucked away in Larkspur of all places. Thank you, thank you!!

They always have cute styles, things you can in other cities lke LA and New York. It's up to date and a very friendly enviroment, nice people.

Best Shoe Boutique in the Bay Area

Until Item; there were no great women's shoe stores in the entire bay area. Either you had to shop in the department stores, or the shoe stores were geared towards comfort or very funky styling. Item looks like NYC or LA . It's right on the mark as far a trend. They seem to seek out and find all the hot emerging brands in shoes and accessories and, by staying away from the established "designers", you don't have to "pay for the label". A great addition to the Marin fashion scene.
Pros: comfortable space, great service

Shoes are awesome. Service is exceptional. Both Joy and Cassima really are knowlegeable about shoes, trends, styles and fashion. The store is inviting, relaxing and a pleasure to buy shoes in a comfortable environment. I'll never go to the city again for shoes. Thank goodness for Item.

Hot fashions, great service

I came accross this great little boutique shop while shopping in the area. I love the shoes and accessories that I found. I ended up with gift certificates for my Mom and sister and some great things for myself.
Pros: great shopping atmosphere, new hot styles not found everywhere!
