Puerto La Boca is by far my FAVORITE restaurant and has been for the past 5 years. If you've never had Argentinean cuisine, you are missing out. My absolute favorite is the Roquefort Tomato Salad followed by Camarones La Boca (Shrimp stuffed with Manchego Cheese and Wrapped in Bacon...WOW). No need for a sommelier here, the wait staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to their wine list. A list which is most impressive to say the least. You can't go wrong with a steak and a glass of Malbec; let's just be fair and make it a bottle because with a steak that outstanding you're going to want to hang out and savor every last delicious bite. The staff has been the same for years and the service just keeps getting better, which is something you don't see very often these days. The restaurant is on the smaller side and although decoration is minimal, it's quite classy. They have a great colored light sculpture in the back room, sneak a peek if you get a chance. Fabulous food, amazing wine, wonderful help and a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, I really just can't ask for more.

The authentic Argentinean cooking at this Little Italy eatery focuses on grilled meats. Start with the empanadas or morcilla; entrees include a 12-ounce filet mignon, asado de tira (Argentinean short rib) and sea bass with mango sauce.
