I don't want to write a mean letter and lambast SB cable, but I need to express my thoughts...

My HiDef cable box gets "digital dropouts" on both video and sound regularly. I have to scrap about 1 in 10 DVR recordings for that reason. The lack of availability of WGN and KOFY is a nuisance. On Demand? What On Demand?

I just wish we had another option to choose from.

I lived in San Bruno for 34 years before moving to Daly City in 2006. I had San Bruno Cable most of those 34 years & their cable internet service for the last 4 years I lived there. I recently moved back to San Bruno and can honestly say I am somewhat disappointed with their cable service. Their On Demand offerings are limited. NO programming from any of the broadcast networks (NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox) and limited offerings from cable networks. They also DO NOT offer KOFY TV 20 ( a free local over the air station) or WGN (which is available on EVERY cable & satellite system in the country). Other than those issues, their package offerings make a lot more sense than the mess known as Comcast. As far as internet, I've read a lot of complaints saying it's very slow. Perhaps it was, but my internet from them is almost as fast as what I was getting from Comcast. So, aside from them having crappy On Demand & not having a few channels that I watch, I'm giving them 3 stars. I'm glad Comcast doesn't supply cable service here, because Comcast is just horrible.

This is the worst cable company EVER in the history of cable television service. I've lived in San Bruno for years and have waited and waited for another provider (besides satellite) to offer service in the city - to no avail. Their prices are ridiculously expensive and, get this, their customer service is only open from 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday. If you have a service problem Friday at 5:25pm, you don't get it fixed until someone gets in on Monday. It's a HUGE rip-off and I'd like to offer some advice to anyone planning to move to San Bruno: DON'T! Don't move to this city unless you're ready to pay twice as much as you would to ComCast for really bad service and bad internet. PLEASE - City of San Bruno: sell San Bruno Cable to ComCast so we can get some good service choices with good prices.

I got tv cable and internet cable from san bruno cable. It is the worst by far. they charge a lot more for the regular package than you would pay for a better package with HD and DVR from other companies.
I wish I could get satellite in here, but it does not get signal from where my condo is located.

Internet Cable: SLOOWWW and cut off a lot. It takes more than 3 tries to get to a website / link for it to load, otherwise i keep getting an error page saying this website is not available. (how can google, facebook, yelp, and even san bruno cable website be unavailable!)

They don't deserve a monopoly for internet in this area. I'll have to check if I can get it through a different way. Or I am moving from here
